Our Programs

Tae Kwon Do has something to offer everyone.  If you wish to improve your physical fitness, mental determination and over-all health, we have the right program for you here at Redding Tae Kwon Do.

Students of all levels can join our martial arts classes at any time of the year.  Each student is trained according to his or her individual capabilities.  People of all ages and backgrounds can grow in the art and benefit from Redding Tae Kwon Do.

All classes are taught by Master Kim, a 5th degree black belt, certified by the World Tae Kwon Do Federation.

KinderKicks

Children this age love to kick and act out the part of a martial artist.  Also, it is a very fun class for parents to watch!

KinderKicks is a special program for kids 4 to 6 years old and classes are twice a week (See the Class Schedule for exact days and times).  Areas of emphasis for the KinderKicks program are:

  • Fundamentals of Tae Kwon Do for kids
  • 7 Home Rules for Children (simplified for age)
  • Getting along with others
  • Basic motor skills, listening skills, introductory discipline
  • Lots of fun!

Junior Tae Kwon Do

Great classes for boys and girls who want to become a confidant physically and mentally.  Even a dreaming of becoming a Olympian is possible to those who pursue Tae Kwon Do excellence!  Tae Kwon Do is also known to enhance athletic capabilities that can dramatically impact other sport performance, such as soccer and football.

Junior Tae Kwon Do is for children ages 7-13 and classes are twice a week (See the Class Schedule for exact days and times).  Focus areas for the Junior Tae Kwon Do program are:

  • Tenants of Tae Kwon Do
  • 7 Home Rules for Children
  • Athletics:  Coordination, endurance, stamina, strength, precision, flexibility
  • Discipline, teamwork and leadership
  • Competition opportunities
  • Lots of fun!

Adult Tae Kwon Do

Adult Tae Kwon Do is for those 14+ who is looking for a great way to get in shape, relieves stress, learn self-defense, and have a lot of fun.  Classes are twice weekly week (See the Class Schedule for exact days and times).
